About the film:
The name of the film is "Some like it hot". This film is about the prohibition : the prohibition took place in America in the twenties, alcohol was prohibited. People were not allowed to drink alcohol. Prohibition was abolished in 1932. It lasted 13 years.
As people were forbidden to drink in public, they gathered in private places : cabarets, churches, underground places... They mixed alcohol with other drinks : coffee/vodka, tea/rhum, wather/rhum, chapagne/tea, ...
